No More Dirty Looks

We just had to champion this marvellous resource that lifts the lid on the cosmetic industry. Well, Stateside anyway. If you wanted to know about what goes into your beauty products and why, then this book and blog will provide you with some (shocking) answers and no doubt provoke a few questions of your own. Of course, here in UK we are governed by EU laws with regard to cosmetic manufacture and thus many more chemicals are now banned from production lines. That said there are a fair few (few hundred and counting) still included and given the amount of chemicals we apply to our skins on a daily basis, not all of them are necessarily good for you.

We particularly love No More Dirty Looks because they love both the John Masters Organics range and the Suncoat products (the Remover in particular). They also offer handy DIY recipes because, frankly, there is nothing in your food cupboard that wouldn't work as well on your body as it would inside you.

Golden Silk Oil

Our miracle, beauty go-to product gets the first mention on our blog, not least because it does exactly what it says on the tin. Since Which? Magazine have recently published an article defining the 10 most useless products to buy, it comes as no surprise that anti-wrinkle creams appeared in the list at no.9.
